Boston—Murphys Boxing is preparing for a full night of fights, including World Championship Boxing. The jam packed card will feature nine explosive bouts, with some of the best fighters around. Murphys Boxings own, Mark DeLuca (14-0 10KOs), will headline the night with his toughest opponent yet, Gabor Gorbics (19-2). DeLuca aims to go for his next victory, after recently defeating Salim Larbi.
Also on the card, will be the highly anticipated World Championship fight between Massachusetts hometown hero Aleksandra Lopes (15-3-2 1KO) and Szilvia Szabados (13-6 5Kos). Lopes attempts to lockdown the WBC Silver Welterweight title in a match that is surely going to be a challenge for both fighters.
Another hometown hero, Greg Vendetti (10-2-1 7KOs) steps back into the ring against Ibrihim Shabazz (2-2-1) for the New England Jr. Middleweight Title. Greg remains fired up from coming off his last victory that took place in May. Greg, who hails from Stoneham, MA, brings an aggressive and powerful style to the ring, that leaves audiences speechless.
Murphys Boxing fan favorite Niall Kennedy (5-0 2KOs) makes his return to the ring, flying in fromIreland and representing The Celtic Warriors gym, facing Willie Palms (10-10-1 9 KOs).
Boston local Paddy Irwin steps back into the ring, after making his pro debut recently on one of Murphys Boxings previous cards. Paddy faces off against Khaaliq Core, in a match that will surely be an entertaining one.
Brian Richardson will be making his pro debut against Nick Cyr, in a heavyweight 4 round bout. Also making his pro debut will be Matt Probin, who will be going against Yurik Mamadov. Matt who has fought many times in MMA, will be proving if he has what it takes to enter the boxing world. Amanda Pavone and Kaline Medeiros will be going head to head in an epic bout, while Adrian Sosa faces off against Shavonte Dixon to start the great night of fights planned.
The weigh in for this exciting Murphys Boxing card will be taking place at 2:00PM, directly in front of the Plymouth Memorial Hall.
