Encore Boston Harbor is proud to announce the return of Murphys Boxing on Thursday, April 9th in the Picasso Ballroom.

Headlining the event will be the pride of Stoneham, Massachusetts, Greg Vendetti (22-3-1, 12 KOs) who will take on Los Angeles-based contender, Cleotis Pendarvis (21-5-2, 6 KOs) for the IBA Welterweight World Title.

'The Villain', one of the most popular fighters in the Boston area, headlined Murphys Boxing’s sold out Encore Boston Harbor debut last summer and looked outstanding in an exciting unanimous decision victory over fellow world ranked contender, Michael Anderson. Prior to that, Vendetti upset world title challenger, Yoshihiro Kamegai before challenging for the WBA Interim World Junior Middleweight title against Michel Soro in France.

“My last fight at Encore was one of the most electric crowds I’ve ever fought in front of,” said Vendetti. “To return again in the main event for their first fight of 202...

Murphys Boxing is proud to announce the full line up for their 5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Clash which will take place on Saturday, March 14th once again at the House of Blues in Boston.

Headlining the already near sold out event will be New Haven, Connecticut's Charles Foster (19-0, 8 KOs). Foster, the current NABA Light Heavyweight Champion will defend his title against Mexico's Manuel Ceballos (17-2, 11 KOs) in a 10 round bout.

Foster, who has been quietly climbing the ranks while putting on a series of flawless performances on platforms like Showtime and UFC Fight Pass over the past two years, is now ranked #4 in the world by the WBA and ready to fight for a world title in 2020.

"It's been a childhood dream of mine to reach this level of the sport.", explains the soft spoken and humble 29 year old southpaw.

After last month's sold out Murphys Boxing's debut at Encore Boston Harbor, the brand new 2.6 billion dollar resort casino located on Boston's waterfront, another capacity crowd watched NABA Super Featherweight Champion, Abraham Nova (16-0, 12 KOs) stop Mexico's Luis Castillo (20-4, 15 KOs) in the first round of a scheduled 10 round title fight.

After a tentative first round that saw both fighters land combinations, with just seconds left in the opening stanza, Nova sent Castillo to the ropes with a hard jab and then dropped the Mexican fighter with a textbook jab and cross. Castillo was hurt badly and could not beat the ten count.

"It was much shorter fight than I expected but I don't get paid for overtime so... I'm ok with it.", laughed Nova, the flashy young contender who is now ranked #6 in the world by the WBA.

As for his thoughts on a title shot in the red hot division that includes champions like Gervonta Davis, Tevin Farmer and Andrew Cancio, 'Super Nova' who hails...

In a special matinee outdoor event at MGM Springfield presented by Murphys Boxing and broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass, Charles Foster (19-0, 9 KOs) defended his NABA Light Heavyweight Championship against Denis Grachev (19-8-1, 10 KOs) winning a 10 round unanimous decision.

Foster, who is currently ranked #8 in the world by the WBA, outboxed the game Russian from the start, using his superior speed and ring generalship to win by scores of 100-90, 97-93 and 97-91.

To Grachev's credit, he came forward the entire fight looking for an opportunity but he could never land more than one punch at a time and found himself walking into Foster's combinations.

"I felt good about my performance tonight.", said the world ranked contender who fights for Murphys Boxing.

"Grachev was durable and strong. He's been in there with world champions and contenders and I was still able to sweep him with a unanimous decision. Definitely a good learning experience. I got cut in the second round and h...

In the first ever ticketed event at Encore Boston Harbor, the brand new 2.6 billion dollar resort casino located on Boston's waterfront, a sold out crowd of 2,300 fans watched hometown hero, Greg Vendetti (22-3-1, 12 KOs) score a shutout unanimous decision over Newark, New Jersey's Michael Anderson (17-3-1, 12 KOs) to capture the IBA Junior Middleweight World Championship.

Entering the ring to "The Imperial March" aka Darth Vader's theme song, Vendetti took a cue from the Sith Lord and began a non stop pressure onslaught that Anderson had no answer for at any point in the 12 round fight.

'The Villain' continually backed Anderson to the ropes and unleashed a steady torrent of combinations averaging close to 100 punches per round. Vendetti never slowed down, putting on a near flawless performance that saw a bloody and swollen Anderson hold on desperately throughout the fight.

Vendetti's performance was so dominant that one judge gave him two 10-8 rounds despite no k...

In what was considered 'Fight of the Night', the Boston based, former Marine won wide on the cards with scores of 99-91, 98-92 and 97-93.

Brewer, who went into the fight undefeated, proved to be a game opponent and made for some exciting exchanges between the two fighters but ultimately the Canadian couldn't find an answer for DeLuca's wide array of skills.

"It was a physical fight. I wanted to box. I felt like I could out box Brandon but I got caught up in the excitement. I said going into the fight that we were gonna steal the show and that's what I had in mind. He was bleeding. That turned me on. I saw that I was bleeding a little and that turned the crowd on. Made for an exciting fight.", said DeLuca who is the current NABA Super Welterweight Champio...
